Cracker was a Major Mitchell's cockato0 and every time you would say hello Cracker, she would repeat it lots of times. We went on a tour of a crocodile farm and saw lots of young crocodiles. We went on a boat tour to see some crocodiles. (see video on my parents' 'blog!)You can see me holding a Betty blue-tongued lizard and her scales were very very smooth. She had a blue tongue!!
We were feeding the agile wallabies and the kangaroos. The kangaroos loved the sweet potato we fed them. I saw a baby wallaby and I fed it a piece of a corn cob. It was eating it until there was nothing left on the corn cob and when there was nothing left on the cob, he was still eating it. He was my favorite one there. If you fed the kangaroos a piece of sweet potato, they would grab it out of your hands and just eat it.
We discovered a new animal called a quoll. It is in the same family as the Tasmanian devil!! It is one of Australia's unique marsupial carnivores!! They have little spots all over them, even on their tails. We also got to feed some cassowaries, they are endangered rainforest birds and they are flightless. We fed them tropical fruit.
