The house here in Tewantin has a swimming pool in the backyard!! The pool is really fun, there is a waterslide and a waterfall!!! There is water coming out of the slide and it makes us go faster!
All the other pictures were taken at the Australia Zoo. It is the most famous zoo in the country. We saw the otters being fed and they were very funny. They are Asian otters and look a bit different from the otters we see in North America. You can see Teaghan and I posing in front of a statue of Steve Irwin and his family. Some of you may know him as the Crocodile Hunter. Sadly, he died a few years ago but his legacy lives on at the zoo.
Teaghan and I touched a lizard and an alligator. Sometimes while we were walking in the zoo, we saw some water dragons ( lizards) running loose, no cages and no fences.
I got to get my picture taken with a koala. His name was Jaffa. Check out my mom's picture on my parents part of the blog holding the koala, she didn't want to let him go!!! (Neither did I, he was so cute and cuddly!!!) We fed some kangaroos. Their fur was so soft, especially on the side of their bodies.
